Unless you are First Aid or League Safe accredited, you cannot set foot on the playing field! You only need to be 14+ to undertake the League safe or Strapping courses and 16+ for the First Aid so why not give it a go? Please consider the following course dates...

UNDER 9 - PAUL BOWMAN CHALLENGE

Well, it was a long, tiring weekend but one thoroughly enjoyed by the team of 15 Under 9 boys who represented our club at the Paul Bowman Challenge held in Proserpine on the 17th and 18th September.
The team equipped themselves well and were a credit to themselves, their parents and their club over the course of their first footy trip away. The team came away with wins in three of their six matches. Well done Yeppoon Seagulls Under 9s!
Thank you also to all the players, parents and supporters who helped us in our fundraising efforts to get the boys to the Carnival.
Under 12 - Jason Hetherington Cup Round-up

Everyone is on cloud nine after the u/12 Yeppoon Seagulls show of talent in making the semi finals for the recent Jason Hetherington Cup carnival held in Gladstone. The competition was hot and the u/12 Yeppoon Seagulls stood the test winning four of their five games on the Friday and two of the four games on Saturday to secure their position in the finals on Sunday . The boys battled their way to the top , winning their first game against Mackay Devils and then a close nail-biting game kept the crowd cheering as they won against Rochedale Tigers, which gave them a spot in the semi-final. The boys knew that it was going to be a tough game against the Noosa Pirates, but they held their heads high and gave it their all, unfortunately they didn't win, but that's footy. There were 20 teams and they made it to top 4. A big thank-you must go to the u/12 Coach, Jason Field for getting the team there!

There are some pics from the Under 14 and Under 15 games in the gallery now for your viewing pleasure. Unfortunately, we were unable to get to the Under 13 and 18 games, so we will have to wait for the professional pics to come through for them (unless anyone out there has any to share with us? If so please email them through and we will get them up for all to see).
