U19 National Tournament

BBAFC are proud to announce that for the first time ever we will be attending New Zealand's most prestigious National U19 Tournament.

The best clubs and players from all across the country will be competing in the tournament with coaches from NZF and National League Clubs out looking to spot new talents for their summer programmes.more

Beach Girls Meet The Ferns

On Saturday afternoon five of our 13th grade girls were lucky enough to receive some special coaching from two of the Football Ferns. New Zealand stars Rebekah Stott and Katie Duncan gave up some of their valuable time to put our girls through a rigorous training session.more

Women Draw With Local Rivals

A depleted senior women’s Division 2 side have battled to a 0-0 draw with local rivals Fencibles United to remain in 6th position after 9 rounds of competition.

Both teams tried their best to play passing football on a poor Riverhills number 2 pitch, and the game rattled along at a good pace, albeit with lots of turnovers in possession and a host of frustrating mistakes and misdirections.more

The BBBAFC senior women’s first team have fallen at home to Western Springs, a narrow defeat by a single goal on a sunny Sunday morning at Rogers Park giving the visitors all three points and pushing BBAFC down to sixth place in AFF Women’s Division 2.more

Chatham Cup Home Match

The Mens First team will be looking to continue their giant-killing feats when they take on Hibiscus Coast 2pm Monday June 6th at Rogers Park in round two of the Chatham Cup. Come along and support the team as they do battle with a team ranked two divisions above them.more

Senior Women Back To Winning Ways

A hat trick to teenage striker Zoe Ruby earned BBAFC’s senior women’s first team all three points against Ellerslie at Liston Park on Sunday, the win seeing the side jump a place back up to 5th in AFF Womens Division 2.more

Men's First Team Upset Onehunga Mangere in Chatham Cup

Bucklands Beach caused a major upset in knocking out Lotto NRFL opposition Onehunga Mangere United 3-1 with Liam Thompson bagging a hat-trick.more

BBAFC Through First Round of Chatham Cup

On ANZAC day our First Team played Norwest in the preliminary round of the Chatham Cup. We had beaten Norwest a few weeks earlier 4-1 in the Conference round, however this is the Chatham Cup and teams play with enthusiasm as did Norwest with them scoring first.more

BBAFC Women Suffer Double Defeat

The scorelines may say it was a tough day at the office as both senior women’s teams went down in Round 6 action at the weekend, but in neither case is the tale of the tape a fair reflection of the closeness of the contest or the effort and endeavour shown by the BBAFC Div 2 and Div 4 sides.more

Ballboys outstanding as Men's First team take points

The 11th grade Rangers supplied the ballboys for the Men's First team match against Ranui Swanson on Saturday 7th May. The ballboys inspired the team to a fantastic 5-2 win with some classic goals being scored by the team from the Beach. Thanks to Murray and the team for looking after the boys. And thanks to manager Paul for the iceblocks, sausage sizzle and beanies for the kids.more

Double Setback for BBAFC Women

Close but no cigar – that’s the message for both BBAFC’s women’s teams as each succumbed by a single goal at the weekend.

The Division 2 side away at Eastdale Reserve against a Metro side just below them in the table, suffered the late withdrawal of two players, and ended a lacklustre first half with a three goal deficit and a mountain to climb.more

Womens Div 4 Claim First Point

BBAFC’s Womens Division 4 side have claimed their first point of the 2016 season, after a sparkling performance against unbeaten league-leaders Papatoetoe United at Millhouse Reserve on Sunday brought a well-deserved 1-1 draw.more

MEN’S Firsts and Reserves Go Far

The Men’s First and Reserves experienced what will be their furthest away game for the season, a road trip to Warkworth. The Warkworth pitch is currently under maintenance and was unavailable for play so the game was held at Kaipara Flats, a wonderful pitch in the middle of trees, fields and mountains.more

Mens First and Reserves Encouraging Preseason

The Mens First team completed it’s preseason with some very encouraging results for new head coach Murray Saunders supported by Scott Foster and Ben Murphy.

BBAFC Women kick off with pre-season double

The senior women’s section of the club claimed a win in each of two pre-season friendlies at the weekend.

On Saturday a 19-player BBAFC squad travelled to Drury United, and a four-goal blitz in the third of three 25-minute periods powered the visitors to a 5-2 victory.

In game 2, an almost completely changed squad took on Fencibles United at William Green Domain, winning 3-0.more

Mens First Team and Reserves start with solid wins

The Mens First team recorded a solid 3-1 over Onehunga Mangere in their first preseason match of the season. Sideline reports advise that BBAFC never gave the opposition much of a chance to get near the goal and a dubious penalty towards the end was the only genuine chance they had. The Reserves also started the preseason campaign well with a 1-0 victory.more
