The 8th grade reps “Pirates” finished their season today with a trip to Keith Hay Park for the TKU 8th grade tournament. Clubs came from far and wide for this one and the boys got off too a great start with a 5-3 win against a very good Hibiscus Coast side. However, the boys weren't at their best in their next match losing 4 1 to Te Atatu who took their chances where as we blew some great ones.more

On Saturday afternoon five of our 13th grade girls were lucky enough to receive some special coaching from two of the Football Ferns. New Zealand stars Rebekah Stott and Katie Duncan gave up some of their valuable time to put our girls through a rigorous training session.more
A depleted senior women’s Division 2 side have battled to a 0-0 draw with local rivals Fencibles United to remain in 6th position after 9 rounds of competition.
Both teams tried their best to play passing football on a poor Riverhills number 2 pitch, and the game rattled along at a good pace, albeit with lots of turnovers in possession and a host of frustrating mistakes and misdirections.more

The BBBAFC senior women’s first team have fallen at home to Western Springs, a narrow defeat by a single goal on a sunny Sunday morning at Rogers Park giving the visitors all three points and pushing BBAFC down to sixth place in AFF Women’s Division 2.more

A hat trick to teenage striker Zoe Ruby earned BBAFC’s senior women’s first team all three points against Ellerslie at Liston Park on Sunday, the win seeing the side jump a place back up to 5th in AFF Womens Division 2.more
On ANZAC day our First Team played Norwest in the preliminary round of the Chatham Cup. We had beaten Norwest a few weeks earlier 4-1 in the Conference round, however this is the Chatham Cup and teams play with enthusiasm as did Norwest with them scoring first.more
The scorelines may say it was a tough day at the office as both senior women’s teams went down in Round 6 action at the weekend, but in neither case is the tale of the tape a fair reflection of the closeness of the contest or the effort and endeavour shown by the BBAFC Div 2 and Div 4 sides.more
The 11th grade Rangers supplied the ballboys for the Men's First team match against Ranui Swanson on Saturday 7th May. The ballboys inspired the team to a fantastic 5-2 win with some classic goals being scored by the team from the Beach. Thanks to Murray and the team for looking after the boys. And thanks to manager Paul for the iceblocks, sausage sizzle and beanies for the kids.more

The Division 2 side away at Eastdale Reserve against a Metro side just below them in the table, suffered the late withdrawal of two players, and ended a lacklustre first half with a three goal deficit and a mountain to climb.more

The Men’s First and Reserves experienced what will be their furthest away game for the season, a road trip to Warkworth. The Warkworth pitch is currently under maintenance and was unavailable for play so the game was held at Kaipara Flats, a wonderful pitch in the middle of trees, fields and mountains.more

The Mens First team recorded a solid 3-1 over Onehunga Mangere in their first preseason match of the season. Sideline reports advise that BBAFC never gave the opposition much of a chance to get near the goal and a dubious penalty towards the end was the only genuine chance they had. The Reserves also started the preseason campaign well with a 1-0 victory.more
