The 2015 Australian Junior Championship referee appointments have been made by the Basketball ACT Referee Management Team.

The past two years have seen the rise and rise of the ACT’s most promising referee, Jack Taylor. After receiving three gold medal appointments at his last three Australian Junior Championships, it is obvious that Taylor is one of the country’s most promising and exciting officials.

FIBA has made a number of changes to the rules, which are effective from the 1st October 2014.

In a first for ACT referees, two officials have been selected to look after SEABL conference grand finals this coming weekend.

Earlier this year Micayla was asked to referee at the Under 18 Australian Junior Championship as a late call up due to a number of pull outs, and as expected she was outstanding. Fast forward 10 weeks and Micayla was again at an Australian Junior Championships, but this time at the Under 16 AJC where she was originally planned to make her mark.

Not for the first time, the ACT Junior officials have attended the Southern Junior League (SJL) Finals round with each and every one of them returning home with a gold medal hanging around their necks.

ACT referee Drew Meads has been recognised by the newly independent National Basketball League (NBL) with his addition to the league's panel of working officials for the remainder of the 2013/14 season.

Directives on how the Senior Premier, Under 16 Division 1 & Under 19 Division 1 will be called.

The Central Board approved changes put forward by FIBA's Technical Commission to the Official Basketball Rules. These changes will come into effect on 1st October 2014.
