As the holidays are drawing to a close, its time to think about footy again. Here are our registration dates for 2015

Working Bee

Friday 30th Jan, from 5pm we will be holding a working bee at Yarrawarrah clubhouse. To get things off to a fresh start, we need to have a look in the sheds, clean up the clubhouse and carry our a few handyman jobs. Many hands make light work, so if you can spare even 1 hour your help will be gratefully accepted. Tradesman or handy people especially welcome!!more

2014 Presentation Day was great

Congratulations to all the award winners. There were some great coaches, teams and players acknowledged. Here are our Junior Club Champion, Kurt Picken and Senior Club Champion, Matt Riccio. Well done.more

U13As Premiers for 3rd year in a row

In a tough fought game, the 2014 13A's continued their undefeated season to take out the grand final win, 24-4. The score line doesn't reflect the toughness of the game, with Gymea really stepping up and making us work hard for the win. But the Yarra boys dug deep, and having a limited bench due to injuries, every single player put in an outstanding performance to bring home the trophy.more

Best BBQ in the Shire

BEAU'S BBQ CHALLENGE was to find the best sausage sandwich in the Cronulla Sutherland Junior Rugby League. And guess who won? Yarrwarrah Tigers!
We of course have to thank our sponsor and favourite butcher, Colins Butchery, who were also recent award winners taking out the NSW training award (see more for details). Congratulations to Colins and thanks for helping us win the best sausage sandwich!more

Yarrawarrah Oval guidelines for spectators

The junior league have advised that rules regarding spectator areas must be properly enforced. The coaches box is only to be used by ground staff, players and team officials. No spectators are to be inside the roped area. If you wish to be on the side opposite the clubhouse you must be behind the wire fence. Thankyou for your co-operation.more

Position Vacant- Social Committee

Want to get involved in your club? We need someones to help Naomi co-ordinate the social events for 2015. These events contribute vital funds to run our club, as well as provide oppurtunities for everyone to enjoy themselves. Call or email or come along to the next committee meeting if you are interested. 3rd Tuesday's each month at 7pm.more

Our NRL stars - Link for Player Profiles - UPDATED 2/6/2011

We have FOUR Yarrawarrah Tigers playing in the NRL and a few making there way in the Toyota Cup (NYC National Youth Cup) and NSW Cup. Read a bit more about them in this post.

Tigers dream team

For those who were there I think we can agree that the 30th anniversary night was outstanding. A big thank you to Keith Galloway and Reece Williams for taking the time to attend and thank Chook and Gav for organising it. (Joel Reddy played outstanding footy the next day so we understand why he couldn't be there)

Thank you to Janet and Chris for their outstanding efforts. Also to the prize donators thank you. There are many others to thank but I am not sure where to draw the line.
