ROUND 16 DOLPHINS V CALOUNDRA ROUND 16 DOLPHINS v CALOUNDRA SHARKS.
This week we were back to Quad Park (Stockland Park) for our much anticipated and long awaited return match against the Caloundra Sharks. We had already played them twice this year, because of the makeup of the draw, each resulting in drawn matches. more -->
ROUND 15 DOLPHINS 24 defeated MAROOCHYDORE SWANS 6 Last Saturday night,we ventured up to Wises Road for a hard match against Maroochydore Swans.Although they are in last position on the ladder it is always a hard encounter against them on their home ground.We were spurred on knowing that all 3 grades had won in earlier matches & we had to win to keep our position near the top of the ladder as even points for an against will be vital for the finals more -->
ROUND 14 DOLPHINS 58 defeated CABOOLTURE 4 After last weeks bye we returned to Stockland Park, Kawana to again to on Caboolture for the third time this season. Caboolture had given Caloundra a huge scare the previous week and we were very cautious going into this match, not knowing what to expect. TRYSCORING RECORDS SMASHED 11 7 2010 It was indeed a tryfest last weekend in the minor grades at Kawana.
First off, Liam Dunemann scored 2 great individual tries in the C Grade game against Pomona/Cooran. Not being enough he backed up in the Reserve Grade game & scored 4 more tries, taking his tally to 6. Not being outdone, Jacob Meninga-short had a field day in the U/18 scoring 6 tries, with the crowd cheering him on all the way. more -->
ROUND 12 DOLPHINS 16 controversial loss Gympie 22 Well, it was off to the bright lights of Gympie. Oh, did I say … bright lights of Gympie. (Explained at the end of my summary )
The under 18s were still on there winning way with more than a 20 point win over Gympie. Unfortunately, what first appeared to be an injury concern to a Gympie player,which held up the game up for over 30 mins, luckily proved otherwise without the player being taken to more -->
ROUND 11 DOLPHINS 24 defeated by NOOSA 32 Round 11 saw he Dolphins, once again journey up to Noosa for our second match against them this year. The Previous encounter was in Round 3 and the Dolphins, had a reasonably easy win, 30 points to 18 that day. We knew that Noosa had improved a great deal since then. ROUND 10 DOLPHINS 24 win NAMBOUR CRUSHERS 22 KAWANA DOLPHINS V NAMBOUR CRUSHERS MANAGERS REPORT
Well, it was back to Kawana yesterday, for our much-awaited clash with the Nambour Crusher’s. We were both vying for 3rd spot on the ladder and a win was vital to both teams. Once again, three of our big guns, were out injured. This time it was Alex Forrest, Travis Cochran & Trent Patten. more -->
ROUND 8 DOLPHINS 16 draw CALOUNDRA SHARKS 16 What another unbelievable game against the Caloundra Sharks at Caloundra last Saturday Night. As usual, the local derby was not for the faint-hearted. Memories of Round 1 soon came to mind, with a repeat performance as if it were scripted. Round 1 saw Caloundra race to a 12-0 lead at halftime. The Dolphins took charge in the second half to lock the final score in with an 18 - 18 draw. more -->
ROUND 7 DOLPHINS 40 win MAROOCHYDORE SWANS 18 We were back home this week to play our local derby against the Maroochydore Swans. As usual, we expected a hard match, as is always the case against our northern neighbours, and that proved again to be the case. more -->
ROUND 6 DOLPHINS 32 win CABOOLTURE SNAKES 10 This week we travelled again down the highway to play Caboulture again. We had beaten them recently , but they had regrouped and we had players out injured from the last encounter, namely DJ McGlynn, Jared Tarlinton, Jack Noble and Mick Nugent. more -->

Kawana Dolphin to a Sea Eagle Q Cup update Congratulations to Ben Whiddon for making himself a regular with the 2010 Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles as well as Jason Wardrop who has also fitted into the Sea Eagles Q Cup for the past few games, taking the tally to 4 Kawana Dolphins who have donned the Sea Eagles Jerseys in Q Cup since their inception in 2009. more -->
ROUND 4 DOLPHINS 18 loss GYMPIE DEVILS 28 This week, we returned to our home ground, undefeated so far, to meet the dark horse of this competition, the Gympie Devils. The Dolphins expected a hard fought match, due to the good form of the Devils in 2010 and the fact that they had performed well against us in a preseason trial. ROUND 3 DOLPHINS 30 win NOOSA PIRATES 8 This week, we hit the road once again, this time to Tewantin (Noosa). A huge tropical storm, followed us all the way to the Noosa ground, but luckily it didn’t appear to strike there, quite as severe. more -->
Round 2 DOLPHINS 44 win CABOOLTURE SNAKES 4 With the enthusiasm running very high after our draw with premiers Caloundra the previous week, the Dolphins ventured to Caboolture, as always, expecting a hard and tough game. more -->
PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE - ROUND 1 Welcome to Season 2010! Finally the footy is back! We have four games on the card today commencing with the Dolphin’s inaugural C Grade Team taking on Bribie island. With about 3500 senior games of experience between the two teams, this game promises to be a great display of rugby league. more -->
