MSJFC has again obtained the services of Rob the Dentist to fit mouthguards for our players. Sunday 4th March  11:00am till 2:00pm at the Clubrooms.

MSJFC coaches applications are open for all grades from U/9s to U/16s for the 2012 season.

 If you would like to coach in 2012 please download the attached application form and return to the club prior to the 14th November 2011.

 Applicants must be willing to under go a Working with Children Check and complete a Level 1 coaches course (paid for by MSJFC).

U/14 Div 4 lost by 3 points to Melton Centrals

U/10 Div 1 lost bt 25 points to Rupertswood.

Well done to Scott, Zippy and all the boys in both teams on a fantastic effort.

Congratulations to the U/10 Div1 team on a last kick victory in their Semi Final.

Melton South   defeated  Gisborne  by 2 points

We now have 2 teams competing in Grand Finals  the U/10 Div1s and the U/14 Div4s .  Good Luck to Zippy , Scott and both their teams.

Unfortunately 3 of our teams lost on sunday and have been eliminated from the Finals.

On a positive note the U/14 Div 4s won and advanced to the Grand Final.

U/16 Div 1  1st Semi  lost to  Sunbury by   51 points

U/16 Div 3  1st Semi  lost to  Kilmore  by   9 points

U/14 Div 1  1st Semi  lost to  Gisborne  by  19 points

U/14 Div 4  2nd Semi  defeated  Melton Centrals  by  16 points

The Melton South Junior Football Club has been approached by the Ballarat FNL about joining the BNFL in future seasons. The committee of the MSJFC sees this as a major change to our current playing conditions and not a decision to be taken lightly. We would like to canvas our members, parents and players on their thoughts.

The first step in the canvassing process will be an Information night hosted by Rod Ward of the BNFL which will be held at the Clubrooms on Monday 1st August at 7:00pm. The Committee encourages all parents to attend to hear what the BNFL are proposing to the MSJFC
