Sports Trainers Required
Lower Plenty Football Club requires sports trainers for the 2013 football season
If you are interested in being part of a young vibrant Football Club and have your First Aid Level 2 or Sports First Aid certificate with an ambition to become qualified as a Level 1 Sports Trainer then we are keen to speak to you about joining our club.
Sports trainer's duties will include the preparation and injury management of seniors, reserves and under-19s teams on both game day and training sessions.
Remuneration is negotiable.

2013 Season Launch
We will again launch the season with a breakfast at Heidelberg Golf Club. Last years launch was a sellout with Kevin Sheedy providing excellent entertainment. This year promises to be just as good hosted by Tony Shaw with Craig Bellamy as the guest speaker. Refer to the attached flyer for full details.

LPFC Christmas Breakup
Following our last preseason training session before Christmas on Wednesday 12 December, Vin Dattoli has asked all Players, Partners/Family, Club Officials & Supporters to join him and the Coaching team for Christmas Drinks at the Groove Train Restaurant Bar, Doncaster Shoppingtown kicking off at 8pm.
This is the first opportunity for us ALL to get together enjoy catching up, meeting new Bears and having a drink at one of the Club’s new major Sponsor’s Restaurant Groove Train.

PRE SEASON TRAINING
Pre Season training will commence on Monday the 19th November and will continue on Monday and Wednesdays until Christmas. Sessions will start at 6.30 pm sharp at the ground. Please park in the carpark closest to Para Rd.

Senior Club of The Year
At the NFL presentation night last Friday the Lower Plenty Football Club was awarded the prestigous "Senior Club of The Year Award". While the on field success contributed to the award a significant factor was the amount of off field community work the club has been involved in this year including the association with Aruluen.

Team of the Half Century Announced
At a function last Saturday (6th) August the club officially announced its Team of the 1/2 Century.
On what was a great night with 300 people in attendance the club provided a brief history of the club, recognised the contributions of its life members and then announced the Team of the Half Century. Congratulations to all those selected.
