REDBACK WINNING STREAK COMES TO AN END Muddy conditions continue to prevail at Panton Hill, but a fine day provided for a big crowd in the all important clash between The Hills and The Bridges. REDBACK BAND WAGON ROLLS ON Sometimes you gotta win ugly, and that’s what the Redbacks were able to do against a reved up Heidelberg West last week. With the wind blowing a blustery gale it was difficult for either team to gain any momentum early with the first goal taking 10 minutes to be put on the scoreboard. more -->
1970's GRAND FINAL RE-UNION ON 14 AUGUST The club will be hosting a re-union of the the 1970 Panton Hill grand final players with a light lunch being provided prior to the game againts Parkside in the last round of the home and away season on 14 August 2010. NEW FACILITIES, LIGHTS AND GROUND SURFACE With an additional watertank at the ground bringing the water storage capacity up to 55,000 litres, a much kinder summer in terms of weather conditions and some TLC by the cricket club the ground surface has significantly improved.
