About Us

WESTERN CITY TIGERS JRLC

Home Ground:   HEBER PARK

Location:  Crn Pringle and Jersey Rds, Hebersham

The Tigers are the only surviving Mt Druitt Club from the 70s and 80s.

We currently field teams from U6s to A grade.

The Western City Tigers Club is based at Hebersham, Mt. Druitt. Last year we had approximately 250 members, with teams from under 6s to A Grade. This year our club is growing. We are the only club servicing the Mt. Druitt Area. Our Club was established approximately 25 years ago.

We have a strong community base, interacting with and within the local community by providing a safe, family orientated venue for children, mums, dads and their extended family to watch and learn to play Rugby League, enjoying the sport they love.

Our club is part of the Penrith & Districts JRL, the biggest District in Sydney, covering Blacktown to Katoomba, and having over 1000 teams in the 2012 competition.

We are also proud to say that Western City Tigers was awarded The Special Achievement Award for 2010 from Penrith & Districts JRL.

In 2012 we had some club members recognised for their efforts throughout the years they have been with football. Steven Great received the Barry Nicol Memorial Sports Trainer of the Year and Kerri McDiarmid was honoured with volunteer of the year not only by Penrith District but also by the NRL. We also had a lot of kids make it through to the development squads a BIG congrats to everyone.
