Angus Hubert awarded Under 16's Best & Fairest while Steve Purdy is awarded Bris South Youth Coach of the Year! Last night (31/8/2010) at the Brisbane Juniors Gala night the Pumas had two out of four of the top B&F selections for the Under 16's McDonald's Premier cup. Jye Hall & Angus Hubert were in the running to take out this seasons B&F. Congratulations to Angus who took out the top position. Also, congratulations to Steve Purdy for taking out the Brisbane South Youth coach of the year! more -->

AFLQ & AFLBJ quash notion of lack of opportunity AFL Queensland together with the AFL Brisbane Juniors, strongly discourages players from changing clubs to play Division One football at under 16 or lower age groups. The belief that it will enhance the players selection in State teams are not in fact true, AFL Qld believe players can access quality training and games through the regional representative teams without swapping clubs. Congratulations Alex Sexton!! Well done to Alex on his selection in the Under 16 Bushrangers. Unfortunately Angus Hubert, Josh Gunn, Jye Hall and Josh Rowe just missed out but will no doubt push hard for selection next year. Jacob Swift was the real hard luck story succumbing to a knee injury that put him out of contention but he too will bounce back. We will all be watching Alex with great pride and wish him all the very best more -->
