Thinking of borrowing?

If you are thinking of borrowing money for either a home or business loan, give NAB a chance as they are donating a percentage of every settled loan to the Ferny Grove AFC if the person applying for the loan mentions they are affiliated with the club. This can be a friend or family member living interstate as well. Some clubs have made over $20,000 doing this.

NETS GO UP BEHIND GOALS

In further development of our facilities, we now have nets up behind the goals at both ends, so no more chasing footies into the carpark or bushes. With our recently redeveloped playing surface, full height goal posts, double storey coaches boxes for both teams, full ground lighting, and now nets behind the goals, Falcon Park would have to be considered one of the premier junior facilities in Brisbane. Many thanks to Greg Paterson for his work on the Grant Application, and Jeff Peters for the construction and installation.

WESTERN TAIPANS UNDER 16'S

The Ferny Grove footy club would like to thank all the boys who competed at the Western Taipans U16 selection day yesterday. The way you conducted yourselves both on and off the field, you are a credit to yourselves, your parents, and the club. Special congratulations must go to Matt Tydink and Eden Richards, who have been named in the initial 36 man squad. Good luck to both Matt and Eden as they progress with the Taipans squad which will eventually be reduced down to 25 for the carnival. To the boys who missed selection, don't be too disappointed. there were over 200 players competing on the day, and I am sure a couple of you were very close.
