The Northern Raiders Summer Development Programs will recommence after the Xmas break from next week for all age groups.

Please find attached the Northern Raiders Christmas holiday training program for players to complete while on their breaks to maintain their fitness levels over this period.

Please find below the Northern Raiders Summer Development Program (SDP) Squads after completion of the SDP testing day on Sunday 23rd of October. Congratulations to all players selected.

The Brisbane Lions are pleased to announce both the Level One and Level Two Hyundai Lions Academy squads for 2012.

Thanks to all boys who attended selection on Monday, Congratulations to all boys who made the squad. Training starts 4th October 4pm at Zillmere JAFC.

 The Northern Raiders held the programs annual presentation night at the Virginia Golf Club on Friday the 22nd of July. The night was enjoyed by all with the presentation of the various awards recognising the individual, volunteer / Official and team success in 2011 being a highlight.

The Northern Raiders Isaac Conway has captained the U16 QLD Scorpions to the Division Two National Championships in Sydney with victory over Tasmania

The “Young” Northern Raiders have won the 2011 U14 Australia Post Championships on the Gold Coast after defeating the Country Kookaburras in a hard fought final.

Congratulations to all girls who have made the initial squad. Training Starts Monday 25th July 4:00-5:00pm Zillmere JAFC.

Four Northern Raiders have been selected in the U15 Queensland Heat team after the completeion of the U15 State School Boy Championships in Townsville.

The U14 ‘Young’ Northern Raiders played their Initial Squad Trial Match on Wednesday the 13th of April 2011, at O'Callaghan Park, Zillmere.

Congratulations to the seven Northern Raiders that were chosen in the initial U16 Queensland Scorpions squad upon completeion of the U16 Australia Post State Championships at Zillmere.

The Under 14’s Young Northern Raiders program will commence this Saturday the 9^th of April 2011 at O’Callaghan Park Zillmere with a selection day. Please note: the selection day is going ahead at this stage, in the event of inclement weather please check back in to this website for updates on the day

The Northern Raiders played the Initial Squad Trial Match on Friday the 11th of March 2011, at O'Callaghan Park, Zillmere.

The Brisbane North region is holding it's first ever AFL Brisbane North Footy Fair on Friday the 1st of April, 2011.

The AFL Brisbane North Region will be holding it's annual Northern Raiders Golf Day on the 28th of March 2011.

The Northern Raiders Under 16 Club Day was held on Sunday the 6^th of March, at O’Callaghan Park, Zillmere. A squad of 48 players has been selected from the day to participate in the Raiders intra club trial match on Friday the 11th of March.

AFL Brisbane Juniors Inc recently launched an appeal for Junior Community Clubs in Brisbane affected by the recent floods.Our junior community clubs are doing it tough and are in need of all the help they can get.

The annual Northern Raiders Under 16’s Club Day will be held at O’Callaghan Park, Zillmere on Sunday March 6^th 2011. This club day is the start of the selection process for the under 16 player pathway.
