Stingrays Finish Fifth in 2009 U14 Championships After a Round One loss to the Raiders, the boys bounced back to produce some good football to win their final two games by 10 goals against the Country Kookaburras and PNG to finish fifth. Stingrays Beaten in Grand Final The Stingrays have come up short at the final hurdle in their quest to go back to back in the Australian Post state championships. The Northern Raiders claimed the 2009 title in hard fought grand final at Coorparoo on the weekend. In other results the Western Taipans defeated Country Kookaburras and the South East Bushrangers claimed third place with a win over the Sunshine Coast Power. more -->

Final 18's Squad and Leadership Group Announced The U18 Gold Coast Stingrays final squad was announced last night at the 2009 U18 Jumper Presentation. After a soild 2 months of training with an initial squad of 50, the squad of 25 to represent the Gold Coast in the upcoming state chamionships were given there playing jumpers and numbers for the carnival in a low key affiar at carrara. more -->
