Great turnout at our 3rd Annual Footy Expo today - thanks to the East Ringwood Senior Players who came along to run drills with our junior Roos, and to The Modern Game, Croydon Sports Injury & Physiotherapy Clinic, Bendigo Bank, East Ringwood Cricket Club, Happy Being Yoga, all our special guests and our fantastic MC Adrian Fittolani. One week to go until our huge Footy Expo! Get down to the senior oval from 9.30 am next Sunday 24 February to register for the 2013 season - even if you've already registered (and so many of you have) - your coach still needs you to come along and join in the team activities on the oval. We have senior players coming down to run activities with you, the Modern Game will be there as well as other special guests who are interested to find out what the ERJFC is all about. There'll be fun for the little kids too, so be there to show your support for our great club and for a fun family morning.

This is your big chance to buy apparel, from hoodies to shorts and everything in between. This year we're running apparel sales differently, it's too time consuming to fill orders as they dribble in all season so the Expo and the Practice Match will be your only chances to get your stuff sorted before the season begins. We have made a huge purchase of all stock so you can just buy it on the day and if you need to order something we will be taking orders on those two days.

Unfortunately our new sponsored training jumpers have been delayed and won't be available for the Expo but they will be availabe for purchase at the Practice Match. For $45.00 you can purchase a training jumper (same style as our match jumpers) for the colder months. We have a range of sizes on order.

The new ERJFC helmets have arrived and can be paid for and collected at the Expo.

Your letter from the EFL with your username and password for their new registration system will also be available for collection at the Expo, so make sure you come down and pick up your letter, apparel and/or helmet, even if you can't stay for the whole event.

We're getting excited, it's starting to smell like there's footy in the air ...

UNDER 17 ACADEMY PRE-SEASON TRAINING

Pre-Christmas training for the Academy Under 17 players will commence as of Monday 26/11/12 and will run on Monday and Wednesday nights until the 19/12/12.

All current and new players are to meet on the bottom Oval at East Ringwood Reserve (Cnr Dublin & Mt Dandenong Rd's East Ringwood) at 5.45pm for a 6.00pm start. Each training session will run for approximately 1 1/2 hours finishing by 7.30pm.

Chris Connolly will head up our interim coaching team and will coordinate the 8 sessions between now and Xmas focussing heavily on individual skill development and incorporating a lot of ball work.

All TAC Eastern Ranges players are expected to participate in a stationary skill program and discuss with Chris their training format going forward.

More detailed information will be verbally provided on the first Monday night in terms of training venues, the proposed Academy structure for the pending season and an update on the 2013 Coaching Status.

What a fantastic end to a great season for the Roos! Two premiership flags to hang on our walls and two very happy groups of great footballers. Our 13D team was rebuilt this season after we couldn't field the team last year and to see their excitement and success makes all the hard work behind the scenes worthwhile. Once again our 17A team have proven they are in fact the best team in the junior competition. We are proud of all of you and also of your coaches, team managers, trainers and all the support staff who have helped you get where you are today - standing tall with a grand final medallion around your neck! Looks like there's an exciting Finals series coming up for the Roos, currently we have 17A on top of the ladder, 15B are in 4th place, 13D are top of their ladder and 12B are in 2nd place on theirs. Well done boys, best of luck for the last two games! :) GO ROOS!more
