The 2012/13 WNBL Season comprises 9 teams:

1) Adelaide Lightning (SA)
2) Bendigo Spirit (VIC)
3) Bulleen Boomers (VIC)
4) Canberra Capitals (ACT)
5) Dandenong Rangers (VIC)
6) Logan Thunder (QLD)
7) Sydney Uni Flames (NSW)
8) Townsville Fire (QLD)
9) West Coast Waves (WA)

With the 9 team competition the finals format has reverted to the 4 team Page system, thus doing away with the mid-week elimination final of previous years.
