Landed myself a coaching position by invitation of the head coach from Pierce.  Pierce is the hockey team my daughter Emily is goalkeeper for in Winter League (indoor).  I was just sitting there keeping stats for my own enjoyment and to use in goalkeeper coaching for later.  I asked the coach after practise if she'd be interested in a copy and she extended me the offer to assist this season.  How could I say no?  I'm pretty excited now to be back behind the bench.  I'm going to continue to keep stats, run the substitutions, and advance scout the other teams.  Of course I had to ask my daughter if this was okay by here and she seemed equally pleased.  Check out Emily's site for scores and updates.
