Tigers should no get pick

I along with many other AFL fans would love to see one of the leagues best players Ben Cousins back on the park in 2009. But I don't think he should be allowed down at tiger land the way the rules are set up. At the moment the tigers have locked in pick 6 with a mature age rookie that they have to take.
Therefore there only chance of getting cousins would be if the commission changes the rules to allow Graeme Polak to go on the rookie list. I think such a decision would be farcical as the Polak situation is poles apart from Adam Ramanauskaus.
The main point of difference being that Rama was out of contract when the bombers took the case to the AFL, they wanted him to be able to stay on the list in some capacity rather than delisting him and re-drafting him down the track. For the tigers to try this on a contracted player would like another club trying to do the same thing for a player who will miss a year with a knee reconstruction.
