We are now just two days out from the start of the WA State basketball League season for 2009 and you can check out our brand new website at http://www.sbl.asn.au.

With the games tipping off this Friday 13th March the 19 week season features teams from all over Western Australia including Regional cities Kalgoorlie, Geraldton & Bunbury.

Featuring NBL & WNBL players such as Steven Weigh (Perth Wildcats), Tom Garlepp (Perth Wildcats), Deanna Smith (Perth Lynx/Opals), Melissa Marsh (Lynx), Kate Malpass (Lynx) & Ashley Gilmore (Lynx). 2009 also see's two new coaches step into the frey from NBL ranks with Wildcats assistant coach Mick Downer taking the reigns of Wanneroo. Wildcats player Adam Caporn will take on his first coaching gig as the Head Coach of the East Perth Eagles.
