GHANA: Dynasty U18 Exhibition game on Vals day

On the 14th of February (Valentines Day) Dynasty Basketball Association organized a basketball all-star exhibition game at the Golden Sunbeam School - one of the organizations club schools. The game was a 'Right to Dream' initiative during the visit of its partners from the Alliowa Attack basketball organization in the USA. Their visit to Ghana was towards a basketball development project in collaboration with Right to Dream Sports Academy. Amongst the group was Jake who is a scout and the director of Alliowa Attack. With their interest to see the potential of young basketball talents in Ghana the game was organized.

The game featured some of the nations best U18 young basketball prospects and they included Nana Yaw Sapon-Amoah (Aka Alimo), Papa Osei, Milad Auoad, Charles Fordjor, Osam Tawiah, Jeffrey Joseph Ola, kwame Danso, David Maja, and Baah Sekyere. The game was really exciting and intense even though most of them had not played any competitive games in a while. The game ended 52- 37. With Nana Yaw Sapon-Amoah scoring 25pts and Papa Osei scoring 15pts. The visitors where impressed and decided to follow up on Nana Yaw Sapon-Amoah who has been a young prospect through out his senior high school education in Presec Legon. Currently Nana Yaw Sapon-Amoah is on his way to the USA to train with the Alliowa Attack and possibly gaining a scholarship to further his college education and basketball in the USA. Dynasty Basketball Association wishes him all the best and we will be praying this opportunity will open up more doors for him to realise his education and basketball dreams.  We will be following up on his development in the USA and bring you the latest developments when it happens.
