Hi Sam, thank you for your welcome message in July. It has taken me a while to say hello, well in the meantime I am pleased to say I am really enjoying my bowls. On a recent visit to South Africa I also had the pleasure of playing a few social games at different clubs, Rondebosch, Mossel Bay and more. I will be playing Pennants for my club this year. Thank you Sam. I first up need to find a club. Home base is Bayside Brisbane, but I am working in Mungindi for 6 months. I am a newbie to the sport. Played some casual bowls a few years ago. Now ready to be a serious club player. Dinghy sailing is my other sport - but it has some limitations - I am missing having sport competition to be involved in and work at on a regular basis. I think bowls might be the answer. I am assuming I would need to be a member of a Qld club to start. TY, Susan
