2010 Update Jessie
U9/4 Premiers 28 vs 20 Canley Heights, good result for Jessie game really wasn't over
till that hooter went off, Canley had gone straight to the Grand Finals after beating us, so
that left us having to get to the finals the hard way in hindsight I guess thats what gave us
the edge, only bad thing is now Jess gives Orrien hell about not winning a final yet.
In a few weeks the boys will start up in Aus-Tag, first year so looking forward to it.

2010 Update Orrien
Well the team started as U10s Div 2 but they won their first four rounds which after regrading bumped them up to Div 1, now its not like the team won their first 4 by enormous score lines far from it but once we hit Div 1 we got hammered, to the credit of the parents & players we didn't miss a game (But one, Sorry guys) even though we all knew what the results were going to be & feeling like ...t inside, we kept coming back trying our hardest, what else could we do. My opinion, Not a good confidence booster for the kids, maybe your regrading system don't work duh lol
Orrien made Zone for shot put but I think he was more interested in the hot chips from the canteen, he still loved the day at Blacktown, day off from school, Home early & the chips, Orrien
said he would be back next year, no doubt son

GRAND FINAL

WENTWORTHVILLE 16 v/s CABRAMATTA 30
It felt like deja vu, almost identical scores from last year,
but after paying $5 the worst was watching the ill discipline from both
teams which resulted in at least 5 send offs, its not what
I travelled, stood in the cold and paid for, honest after the
game you could cut the atmosphere with a knife the ground
was so quite it was like waiting for a ticking bomb to go off.
My last thoughts are, I think the Ref & Touches didn't do a good job
just my opinion, Congratulations Cab - Commiseration Wenty
Fabian also made the 1/4 Finals for Manly but got pitted out by the Knights
in Harold Matthews, I believe Penrith took it the goods though, reports are
Fabian enjoyed his time & he still has a Trip to NZ as the NSW Maori team
take on brothers from another mother in October

but true to form, the boys moved on quickly with
coming trials for spots in 2010 Harold Mathews,
there's not much time left for been on a downer.

Girls rugby league camp in Brisbane
ARL Development will be holding a girls rugby league camp in Brisbane during the September school
holidays. Any girls aged 12-18 years of age are welcome to attend, even if they have never played
rugby league before.
The camp is being held at Nudgee College between Tuesday 29th September and Thursday 1st
October. Girls are invited to live in for the camp or come along each day.
The camp will involve a range of activities including rugby league games and skills coaching,
strength and conditioning, nutrition advice plus use of Nudgee facilities such as tennis, basketball
and aquatic centre.
The camp will be supported by Brisbane Broncos, QRL and Australian Women's Rugby League.
Cost - $150 live in, $80 daily attendance.
