Retired after 40 years export agric/fishery products. Part of team won Zone flag, invited Steve Glasson to play with me and a mate in a Carnival at Northmead last year - accepted great day/great guy. Looking forward to Grade 2 State Final at Northmead in August.

Lawn Bowls

Started 8 years ago(should have started earlier).

Club - Northmead Bowling, Recreation and Sporting Club Ltd.

4 years as a Board member before becoming a Selector this year. Re-elected as a selector for next 12 months ie Sept '09-Aug '10.

Accredited coach for past 3 years.

Coordinates Corporate Bowls(been doing this for last 4 years) - raising on av $8000 per year.

Northmead Grade 5s won 3 out of 4 games in post sectional finals zone 10 but missed out on flag. Team consisted of six bowlers new to pennants and they are looking forward to next year. Welcome to those clubs who have qualified for Grade 2 State Finals at Northmead 1-3 August 09. Every attempt will be made to make your visit memorable. Top 5 Target Bowlers at Northmead at moment are Mick Kelly 50 points, Mick Debono 49, Stu Dorahy 43, Arthur Austin 42, Shannon White 40.

Thank you for the welcome. Anytime you are up in Sydney, pop out to Northmead and you will be made quite welcome. We have 3 top greens(one of them a new tiff going great). Add to this some great bowlers both men and women - you may have seen one recently in Aust Indoors newish bowler in Angie Tindall; Shannon White who has played for the State and is our greenkeeper, along with Mick Debono who won State Reserve Singles a couple of years ago. Anyway if you come up ask for me or if Im not there the club will call me(only live around the corner). My mobile is 0400 734 309(not on when home 02 9630 2749) or bowling). Going up the club to watch 1st round Triples Championship this arvo -sus out my opposition for tomorrow(had a wo in 1st round myself) and try and find another lead(lead gone into hospital).
