Competition NotesDue to loss of fields on the 16th February all games will be 20mins in length, compared to the NSWTA Junior State Cup Conditions of Entry which state 25mins games.
There are six Pools in this competition, 6 teams (5 Games) in Pools 1 & 2 and 5 teams in Pools 3-6 (4 games).
Due to the inconsistant number of teams in Pool's 1 & 2 compared to Pool's 3-6, a scaling system will be used to determine an equal points and for/against ratio for the final series.
All Byes are worth 0 points
Team A (From Pool 1)
Plays 5 Games (Ability to score a maximum of 15pts)
Team B (From Pool 3)
Plays 4 Games (Ability to score a maximum of 12pts as no points for byes)
(Team B) 12pts divided by 4 (amount of games played) = 3
3 multiplied by 5 (amount of games in other pool 1) = 15
This same formula is also used in determining for & against as well as percentage.
Final Series Structure
1st in each Pool will be ranked 1-6.
2nds will be ranked 7-12
3rds (Top 4) will be ranked 13-16
Rankings are based on points, difference then percentage.
