WNBL CAREER NOTES:
In the 2009/10 season Natalie missed 9 games for the Flames after breaking her arm in Round ___ but still managed to reach the 250-game milestone and WNBL Live Membership. Natalie averaged 11.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals in 13 games in the regular season. In the Flames 2009/10 finals campaign Natalie led the team in scoring, posted averages of 15.5 points, 8 rebounds and 1 assist. Natalie was named WNBL MVP in the 2007/08 season when she average a career high 24.6 points per game. In the 2006/07 season she was named in the WNBL All-Star Five, ranking 2nd in points per game averaging 18.6, 3rd in 3pt% with 39.4% and 6th in total rebounds with 7.9 per game. Natalie ranked 8th in offensive rebounds with an average of 2.4 pg in 2005/06. She scored 270 points in her debut season with the Flames with an average of 14 ppg. Natalie shot 77 % from the free throw line for the Fire in the 2003/04 season she was named winner of the Robyn Maher Defensive Player award for the WNBL in 2002/03, member of the 2002/03 WNBL All-Star Five. Natalie averaged 8.5 rebounds in the 2000/01 season with the Boomers. Averaged 15 points per game in the 2002/03 season for the Fire.
GENERAL BASKETBALL CAREER NOTES:In 2008 Natalie left Australia to take up a contract with Italian club Lavezzini Parma. She represented Victoria Metro U16, U18 and Victoria U20 at National Junior Championships… squad member of the Gems (Australian Junior Women) 1996/97… VBA Rookie of the Year 1998… drafted to the WNBA by New York Liberty in 2000… played in her first Olympic Games in Athens 2004 winning a silver medal.
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Nat has two younger brothers, Brenton and Chris (both tower over her). Her parents are Christine and Tim…She has very fond memories of her Stepfather, Sebouh.COACH'S COMMENTS: An Olympian and former league MVP, Nat’s season last year was interrupted by injury.
