WNBL CAREER NOTES: Angela was one of the only a handful of familiar faces in the Lightning squad last season and was again pivotal to the teams WNBL finals run. She averaged 11.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. Angela played 20 games in season 2010/11 and averaged 15.2 points and 4.3 assists per game; She ranked top ten in the league for points, assists, steals, and foul shooting percentage. Named team MVP for season 2010/11.In the 2009/10 season Angela injured her shoulder late in the season, missing the final 3 games of the season but averaged 16 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game and was named Adelaide MVP Runner Up and was named WNBL Player of the Week twice. In the 2008/09 season Angela posted averages of 13 points, 2.8 assists and 2.5 rebounds. She had the second highest foul shot percentage at the end of the regular season, converting 99-of-117 attempts at 84.6 per cent. She won the WNBL Championship with Canberra in 2005/06 and with Adelaide in 2007/08... Angela’s career best season came in the 2004/05 season with Canberra when she tallied 368 points and 70 rebounds, also adding 62 assists to average 17.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3 assists per game.
INTERNATIONAL CAREER NOTES: Represented the New Zealand Tall Ferns at the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games in Athens and Beijing and was in the U21 New Zealand Young Women’s Team at the 2006 Oceania Qualifying Series.
GENERAL BASKETBALL CAREER NOTES: 2008 member of the New Zealand Tall Ferns at the Beijing Olympics; Angela played for Sturt Sabres in the Central ABA in 2005-2006 and 2006-2007. 2006 Member of the Silver Medal winning New Zealand Tall Ferns team at the Commonwealth Games; She was selected to the New Zealand National Women’s team in 2004 and at age 18, Angela was the starting point guard for the New Zealand Tall Ferns at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Angela has three sisters. At age 18, Angela was the starting point guard for the New Zealand Tall Ferns at the 2004 Athens Olympics. She is studying Law at Adelaide University. Angela has three passports: From Italy, New Zealand and Australia.
