Josh and Keegan - as seen on TV

You'll only catch them for a few seconds but it's good to see Josh Meoli and Keegan Oh-Chee doing their bit in a currently airing TV commercial for the St George Foundation http://webapps.stgeorge.com.au/stgeorgefoundation/ The foundation raises funds for a wide range of charities and has distributed over $13 million since 1990.

Josh and Keegan, along with CJ Grogan from Darwin, are the WheelKings development players for 2009. Aged 15 to 16, they will be attending all mandatory training sessions with the senior players throughout the NWBL season. Individual tuition will be provided by WheelKings assistant coach Alan Cox via the Talented Athletes Program (TAP) which is funded by Wheelchair Sports NSW. Each player will also have the opportunity to suit up on the Wheelkings bench and maybe get court time in accordance with their progress.

Young David Moreira also appears. He plays for the Stud Muffins with CJ and Kylie Gauci in the Tuesday 4 on 4 comp. He hasn't had the same opportunities to work on his game as the other young athletes but the WheelKings coaches can see his potential down the track.

Keep an eye out for the ad and keep an eye on the court for these exciting players of the future!
