Preliminary Final v Kew Rovers
It’s been said more than once but a week is a long time in footy. Last week, we were disappointing but we earned the double chance for a reason.
more
Semi Final v North Brunswick
With our group playing in their first finals match, it was a very exciting day. Up against North Brunswick who (deservedly) finished on top of the ladder we knew we faced a tough challenge.

A really good and consistent team effort in round 15 to defeat Ivanhoe by 95 points.
more

We wish them all the best best.

Round 13 v Heidelberg
On Sunday, we faced a Heidelberg team who we knew would be more competitive than our last meeting in round 6, and that is how it turned out to be.
After captain Jamie won the toss and wisely chose to kick to the wind
assisted far end, we started well before giving up a couple of goals due to loose play down back.
more
Round 12 v North Brunswick
For the second consecutive week we fronted up to play the top ranked team, this time against a side who beat us by more than 10 goals earlier in the season.
more
Round 11 v Richmond
If nothing else, our boys know how to entertain the spectators on a cold day- another absolute nail biter and fantastic to come out with a win against the top team by 9 points.
more
Round 10 v Hawthorn Citizens
Round 10 saw us against Hawthorn Citizens in a “must-win” match in the bleakest conditions many present could remember.
more
Round 9 v Kew
For the third game in a row, our team provided a thriller coming from behind to fall five points short of Kew Rovers.
more
Round 8 v Ivanhoe
After a thrilling 2 point win last round against Parkside, our team provided
another nail-biter with a 21 point all draw against Ivanhoe. Our opponents
were much improved on our last meeting and for most of the first half
demonstrated better run, skills and desire to deserve a 14 point lead at the
break.

50 GAME MILESTONES
Congratulations this week to Oliver Stapleton & Tom Ebbage who will play their 50th games for the club.
more
Round 7 v Parkside
On a cold and wet Pitcher Park, our boys won a “must win” game by 2 points. It was a brave and committed four quarter effort and every player should be proud of their role in the result.
more
Round 6 v Heidelberg
A terrific four quarter effort from the boys today to record a 104 point win against arch rival Heidelberg.
more
Round 5 v North Brunswick
Our round 5 match against North Brunswick proved to be a huge challenge for the group. The opposition were big, strong, skilful and well trained and gave us a reality check on the standard that we can expect to meet.
more
Round 4 v Ivanhoe
Going into this game with some confidence, we were sluggish early. Manning up was not up to our expected standard and the Ivanhoe players gained confidence running forward and took a lead into quarter time.
more
Round 3 v Ashburton
A very cold and windy day but singing the song for the first time at the end of the game warmed us all up.
more
Round 2 v Surrey Park
We went into round 2 knowing that Surrey Park away would be a tough assignment.
