2011 Season
Only retaining 4 players from the 2010 season, the outlook for the Canberra Heat in 2011 will be tough. The youngest player on the roster is 15 and with only 9 players registered so far, the average age is 21 and average playing experience in WAVL is 1.9 seasons. The positive to this team though is the number of Australian Youth and Junior representatives that will be playing, gaining more valuable experience for their international career.
2010 Season

The Canberra Heat improved on their form in 2010, as well as adding a few new players to the roster, winning more sets this year as well as their first game in 4 years. Despite the win, and having equal comeptition points with the QAS Pirates, the team still finished last on the ladder with a lower points ratio. Captain Sil Ruddle also retired at the end of the 2010 series after a decade long career in the National League. To cap off her stellar career, she shared the MVP award for 2010 with Tara West from WA. Team List (No of Games)

2009 Season

Welcomed back into the Women's AVL Competition in 2009 after a 2 year break, the Canberra Heat had spent this time rebuilding their women's program and developing a lot of younger players for the future years. Despite the inclusion of former VTAW captain Sil Ruddle, the team struggled in the competition losing all 10 matches and only claiming 1 set in the last round as their form improved.
