High Lube Roller Hawks sitting on top of the NWBL Ladder ...
The High Lube Roller Hawks mainatain their first position on the ladder, with their 4th win from 4 outings, after defeating the Wentworthville Wheelkings this afternoon.
It was incomprehensible that Bill Latham had not returned home from Europe for these two vital games for the Wheelkings, especially with Jeremy Van Asperen struggling with a shoulder problem after the Razorbacks game the previous night.
For the Roller Hawks, however, it was another blitzkrieg from Tristan Knowles firing up for a massive 47 point haul, 15 rebounds and plenty of dishing off with 15 assists, to agian record a triple double.
Brett Stibners was again the complement to Knowles with his 23 points and an outstanding 71% accuracy rate from the field.
The High Lube Roller Hawks have a break now before their next outing at home on Saturday 28th June and then Sunday 29th June for their double header against the Brisbane Spinning Bullets.
