INTERESTING FACTS: Amy loves to travel the world doing what she loves with basketball. In her spare time she likes to cook up a feast for friends and family. Travelling allows her to spend hours reading books by her many favourite authors and enjoys going to the movies.

WNBL CAREER NOTES:

Amy made her WNBL debut in season 2010/11, playing in all 22 games for the Flames. She averaged a team-high 18.7 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Amy finished second overall in points per game for the season. She was awarded the WNBL Player of the Month of October in her first four weeks in the league. Amy was also named a member of the WNBL ALL-Star Five.

GENERAL BASKETBALL CAREER NOTES: Playing USA College Basketball at Arizona State University from 2002-2006. NCAA Sweet Sixteen in 2005; Played 3 seasons in Puerto Rico; Poland 2008, Romania 2008, SEABL in 2009/10 with Knox; All Star 5 member in SEABL 2009. Amy played in the SEABL in 2010 with Knox Raiders.2011 Amy played in the SEABL in 2010 with Knox Raiders

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Mother, Nancy, teaches special education. Father, Rodney, supervisor of local Department of Water. Brother, Randy Denson, who is 18 years old and starting his first year at University of Oregon. Life after basketball is still the unknown. I have such a passion for the game, coaching is looking like a great option. Also, want to go back to school to get my Master's.

COACH'S COMMENT: When you think of Amy, you think of the word consistent. In her four seasons in Australia she has consistently been an all-star and MVP candidate and returns as our team MVP. We are looking for Amy to step up further this season and a be a leader
