GENERAL BASKETBALL NOTES: 2011 Michelle played for the Sterling Senators in WA’s SBL competition; 2010 Michelle played for the Sterling Senators in WA’s SBL competition, where she was named team MVP; Michelle represented Australia’s U19 team, the Gems, at the 2008 William Jones Cup in Taipei and toured France with the Gems in 2009. Michelle also played in the U16, U18 and U20 NSW state teams.
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Michelle loves going to the beach and hanging out with friends. Her favourite movie is Dear John and loves Thai food.
COACH’S COMMENT: She has worked extremely hard in the off-season on her strength and conditioning. Michelle is an athletic player who will add a lot to our depth, and will be looked at as a key contributor coming off the bench to provide valuable minutes. The former NSW Junior comes to the Flames after spending time with the AIS and Perth in past WNBL seasons.
