INTERNATIONAL GAMES: Natalie is playing for the Great Britain National Team in the 2012 Olympics
WNBL CAREER NOTES:: Natalie returned to the WNBL in season 2010/11 with the Flames, playing in all 22 games and averaging 11 points and 2.8 rebounds per game, which included a season-high 26 points against Dandenong on 18 December 2010. In the 2002/03 WNBL season Natalie averaged 11.2 ppg, 2.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists. In 2001/02 Natalie was named in the ALL Star Five in the season she averaged 18 ppg, 3.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists. In season 2000/01 Natalie played in 23 games and averaged 12.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.
GENERAL BASKETBALL NOTES: Natalie is currently a member of the Great Britain basketball team coached by Tom Maher. She has represented Great Britain in both the 2010 Eurobasket qualifiers and the 2011 Eurobasket. In 2009-2010 season she played in the England Basketball League with Barking Abbey where she received Player of the Year honours. She was a member of the Sydney Flames from 1999-2003 where they claimed the WNBL title in 2001 and was 2nd every other year. She was a member of the Australian Opals squad from 2001-2003. Natalie was chosen as a part of the All Star 5 in the 2001-2002 season. Natalie attended the University of Oregon from 1996-1998.
PERSONAL INFORMATON:
Natalie’s favourite TV shows are True Blood and Dexter. Her favourite books are The Catcher in the Rye, The Picture of Doorian Gray and American Psycho. Natalie loves food and enjoys trying new restaurants; she has recently started drinking coffee and can’t get enough of her sister’s lattes at her family’s café in Lindfield. She loves the beach and is hoping to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle Manly has to offer with her husband David.
COACHS COMMENTS: Natalie is a championship player with the club and will bring a wealth of experience to the team. Her versatility allows her to play at multiple positions and we hope Nat will be a leader for the group as the season unfolds.
