WNBL CAREER NOTES: It was a career season for Steph en-route to the WNBL Championship, averaging 14 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2 assists per game. Steph played in all 23 games for the Rangers in season 2010/11 including one final. She averaged 10.2 points and 2.9 rebounds per game; Steph recorded a career-high 26 points against the Bulleen Boomers on 19 February 2011. In the 2009/10 season she played in 22 games, she averaged 11.1 points, 1.7 assists, and 3 rebounds per game; she won the Ranger’s Most Valuable Player award... In the 2008/09 season Stephanie played 20 games for the AIS averaging 8.1 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2 assists per game... She averaged 5.5 points per game in 2007/2008... Shot at 50% during 2006/2007 season... She played 11 games for Dandenong in 2006/2007 before starting her scholarship at the AIS in 2007.

GENERAL BASKETBALL NOTES: 2011 Steph was named in the Australian Opals squad; 2010 Steph played in the SEABL women’s Championship winning squad for the Dandenong Rangers; In 2009 she represented the Gems at the FIBA U19 World Championship in Bangkok, Thailand, where Australia finished fifth. Stephanie averaged 5.9 points and 1.4 assists at the world titles. In 2008 she was a member of the Australian Gems (U19) team that won the FIBA Oceania qualification tournament. In 2006 Stephanie represented Australia at the FIBA Oceania Youth Tournament, winning Gold… Australia at the 2006 Oceania Youth Tournament in New Zealand... Represented Victoria U14 in 2002 and 2003, U16 in 2004 and 2005 and U18 in 2006 at the National Junior Championships.
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Steph has one older brother Jamie. She loves drinking Nippy’s iced chocolate and singing Glee songs with former team-mate Amelia. Steph is known locally for her trophy blasting and styling skills.
COACH’S COMMENTS: Steph has improved every season she has played in the WNBL. She is revered at Dandenong and a wonderful example of the pathways offered at the Rangers for a junior female basketballer who can play their whole career at one club. Steph’s game is evolving and I have no doubt she will cement herself as one of the WNBL’s finest players in the coming years.
