The application for an International Visitors Permit MUST be completed and submitted prior to your arrival in Australia. Your entry will not be finalised until this documentation has been received.
To aid in the process and to decrease any delays in your departure the following forms also need to be submitted prior to arriving in Australia, Export Declaration, ICS Registration Form and Restricted Goods Permit (RGP).

Event Details
Countries will be represented from mainly the Asia/Pacific Region, with many of these countries using this as a Pre-Olympic training ground. A variety of ISSF and NRA events will be conducted at the Arafura Games. Participants will also have the opportunity to compete in a Grand Prix events which will be held in conjunction with the Arafura Games.
Each participant will be required to pay a one-off fee of $A80.

The competition will be conducted at the Micket Creek Shooting Complex, located approximately twenty minutes from the Marrara Sporting Complex.

The following Oceania Paralympic Championship shooting events will be held for athletes with a disability:
- Air Rifle Standing (SH1) Men and Women
- Air Rifle Prone (SH1) Mixed
- Air Rifle Standing (SH2) Mixed
- Air Rifle Prone (SH2) Mixed
- Air Pistol (SH1) Men and Women
- Sport Pistol .22 (SH1) Mixed
- Free Pistol (SH1) Mixed
Grand Prix Events (Darwin Open)
The following events will be held in conjunction with the Arafura Games:
- Air Rifle 10M Men's & Women's (senior & junior)
- Service U/R
- Service 25M
- Black Powder 25M
- Black Powder 50M

All events will be run in accordance with International Sporting Shooting Federation (ISSF) rules and standards.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much will it cost?
Each participant of the pistol shooting event will be required to pay a one-off fee of $A80.
Other than this participation fee there is no registration fee to participate in the Arafura Games. However, you are responsible for costs associated with air travel, accommodation and daily living expenses. Arafura Games organisers provide transport to and from the airport to your place of accommodation, and to and from playing venues and accommodation. Arafura Games accreditation also provides free access to transportation using the Darwin Public Bus service.

What about accommodation for my team and officials?
Darwin has a variety of accommodation to suit all budgets, tastes and special requirements. Almost all of Darwin's accommodation houses are located close to the Central Business District (CBD) and a short drive from sporting venues. .An accommodation service will be operating closer to the Games.
