Weightlifting platform being readied

With the weightlifting competition starting at 12.15pm at the Telecom Sports Arena tomorrow, a special platform is being set up for the weightlifters to do their thing. As the competition manager, Unakea imust ensure that the set up is according to international standards.

Competition day tomorrow will start at 10am with all the competitors weighing in to confirm their weights for their respective classes.

The first competition for the men will be the 56kg class.

For women there is usually a 48kg class but as there are no entrants for this particular class this year, their first compeition level will therefore be the 53kg class.
