Samoa and Fiji draw
The first half of this game was quite slow with the score at 10-8 to Fiji.
The second half livened up with Fiji got another converted try taking the score to 10-16. Samoa knew they had to wake themselves up if they wanted any chance at a medal.
They certainly did that so that they eventually added 2 converted tries to their score tally, one of them in the final minutes of the game.
As Navy Epati announced, we had been treated to some 'outstanding matches' today so the crowd that attends the semi-finals tomorrow will be treated to a really exciting programme of matches.
