Fiji takes the title for the 77kg weightlifting class
Second, taking the silver medal, was Faavae Faauliuli of Samoa (287kg) and third and the bronze medal was Taubena Tatonga of Kiribati (235kg)
The three placegetters were the main players in the two competitions which constituted this major title.
In the Snatch, gold went to Samoa (126kg), silver to Fiji (125kg) and bronze to Kiribati (110kg).
In the Clean and Jerk, gold went to Fiji (167kg), silver to Samoa (161kg) and bronze to Kiribati (125kg).
