Fiji never underestimates their opponents

Every team will have prepared themselves to win the gold, and that will be their attitude when they go onto the field in today’s pool games.

Fiji is fortunate to be one of the teams (the other being Samoa) which is already on the IRB Circuit and can take advantage of continuous match play among some of the world’s best teams.

At this Games they are introducing two new caps and it will be experience at the Pacific Mini Games which will cut their teeth on what can be an exciting sporting career for themselves.

Also in attendance at the informal gathering of the Sevens Management and Captains at the “Whatever Bar” was James Bolabiu, a Fijian referee who also comes to the Pacific Mini Games with international experience on the IRB Circuit.
