Samoa wins the Gold for the Sevens Rugby
Fiji fumbled the ball, missed passes, tackled badly and overall just didn't feature in this game as they had in the lead-up matches.
By halftime Samoa were already 26-0 ahead. Their tackling held the Fijians who didn't show any of their normal flair until the last part of the second half, but by then it was way too late.
The Fijian community tried their hardest to boost the Fijian team from the sideline by their loud singing and cheering, but they just weren't there.
On the other hand, the brilliant play by the Samoan team certainly gave the Samoan community something to cheer about. It was a well deserved win to the Samoan team (38-7).
