Titikaveka happy after Singapore win
In the first session of pool play at the World Youth Netball Championships today, Singapore met Papua New Guinea.
The Singaporeans proved to be too good for the young PNG squad so it was a very happy cheer team from Titikaveka College caught leaving the stadium this afternoon having supported the Singapore team to a pretty convincing win against Papua New Guinea. Singapore really took advantage of the opportunities in the goal area to pop the ball into the hoop and pile on the points during the latter stages of the game. They seemed to pick up the pace in the second half, taking advantage of a tiring Papua New Guinea Team. Singapore won 61-23.
