Trinidad and Tobago beat Barbados

Trinidad/Tobago came in as favourites against their Caribbean neighbour Barbados and didn’t disappoint themselves.
They were all over Barbados in the first quarter racing away with a 20 – 6 advantage and continued to the end whistle to win 59 – 33.
Nevertheless, Barbados managed to keep the momentum going for the team by making the most of any advantage they had to service the equally brave goal attack and goal shoot.
For Trinidad/Tobago at one end of the court goal keeper Kimfer Philip kept Barbados at bay while at the other end of the court goal attack Jeolisa Cooper kept the point tally moving ahead.
