Family here to watch NZ team

Barry and Lyn Crofts (left) and friends Ross and Kay Tangney (right) made sure that they could be seen in the crowd to watch daughter Hayley in the New Zealand Under-21 team.
Barry and Lyn had promised Hayley they would come over to Rarotonga if she made the team and here they are.
The distinctive shirts were purchased so that they could be easily identified so there is little chance they will get lost in the crowd.
They find it difficult to believe that we locals are finding our winter temperatures cool. The couples hail from Invercargill, way down at the bottom of the South Island of New Zealand where they are “just coming out of their winter and starting to hit the double figures”.
They are enjoying their time on Rarotonga and the netball games – especially New Zealand who won their game on Thursday against Scotland 78-24.
