Holidaying in the Cook Islands seemed a much warmer option than New Zealand at this time of year, for Kerry Oldham. She is visiting her parents, Althea and Ashley who live on Rarotonga. Kerry is on holiday from her teaching job in Kensington, London and enjoying the chance to see some netball action featuring the New Zealand team. During half time of the NZ-Northern Ireland game, the family chatted with Karlene Pynenburg. While she is here, Kerry is keen to establish an online penpal link with a primary class in the Cook Islands for her Year 5s in England.
