Malawi vs Singapore

Malawi has done it again with their match against Singapore. Accurate shooting, ball snatching and height were some of their advantages in Saturday evening’s match. From the start of the game Malawi held their position, and dominated every quarter. Malawi was definitely in control of the game as the final result showed with 85-25 over Singapore.
Nurul Baizura, captain of Singapore, said they fought hard and never gave up, even though Malawi had some advantages over them. She said Singapore has learned some lessons from this match which will help them in their matches in the next few days. According to the captain their goal is to gain experience as this is their first time at any world tournament. Coach for Singapore Mary Lee added that the team needs to play fast and control the ball when it comes to them. Lee said the girls felt the challenge of the match. However they had played their best and enjoyed their game.
