It was a very relieved PNG side at the end of a grueling match against USA. The sides were quite evenly matched and highlights and lowlights were significantly similar. PNG displayed pockets of brilliance but let themselves down several times due to unforced errors. The third quarter was indicative with a score of 8-4 to PNG. The overall score could have been higher for both teams with more concentration. PNG had an edge over their opponents who are still at a fledgling stage of their netball development and could improve with more international matchplay.
