Saturday’s game was a do or die game for Scotland who, despite their valiant efforts on court, have not been favoured by a win during this tournament. Trinidad and Tobago took a win that was indicative of the flow of play. They dominated in mid-court, intercepting carelessly delivered shots by Scotland and moving them quickly to their goal shooters. Scotland’s goal shooting was not as accurate as it could have been so that they were unable to capitalise on the opportunities they had at their end of the court . In the first half the scores were only 6 points apart with both teams making errors. However, Trinidad and Tobago seemed to get it together again to eventually take control of the game, winning 50-25.
