An accurate Gol Gol led from start to finish to take out the 2010 Millewa League premiership over Bambill, reversing the result from 2009.
Bambill's inability to kick goals in the finals series proved costly in three quarters especially when they had as much play forward as the Premiers.
Gol Gol kicked with the breeze in the opening term and Kaleb Sherwell had a goal on the board in the first minute.
The Hawks had coach Jason Bell at full forward and he goaled at the eight minute and 18 minute marks of the opening term.
The Saints did get the ball foward but it took a long time until Jason Hunt kicked a strong goal against the breeze.
In the second term Bambill began with a flurry and Simon Robertson goaled in the first minute and not long afterwards Billy Fishwick broke clear to kick the third Bambill goal with the score suddently 5.0 to 3.4
But then late in the term with Ryan McClelland off Gol Gol kicked cruicial goals against the breeze through Jason Bruhn and the lively Chris O'Flaherty.
At half time Gol Gol had seven straight goals on board while Bambill booted 3.8.
In the third quarter Bambill worked hard against the breeze but missed chances, particularly spearhead Brett Haase, who kicked seven behinds for the day and one into the man on the mark from 20 metres out.
While Bambill kicked poorly, some of its players appeared to be still suffering from some hard knocks against a heavy handed Cardross from the week before.
Late in the third term two 50 metre penalties against Rob Morgan resulted in the game getting away from Bambill, just when the Saints had goaled and got to within 25 points and a slight hope of victory.
In the last 10 minutes Bambill squandered further chances while Gol Gol booted two more to finish with 13 for the day.
At the end of the day Bambill's final series was not good enough - three goals only in the second semi, 10 goals in the preliminary final (but only one goal in the second half) and 5.18 from 23 scoring shots in the Grand Final.
Gol Gol led all day and deservedly secured the flag with Dion Collins being awarded the VCFL Medal.

Second quarter: Gol Gol 7.0; Bambill 3.8
Third quarter: Gol Gol 11.2; Bambill 4.13
