3rd H4H Challenge for Alice Springs
The 3rd Hoops 4 Health Challenge for Alice Springs is confirmed for Friday 4th March. The event will take place at Traegar Park Basketball Stadium, the home of hoops in Alice Springs.
H4H Aboriginal Corporation will conduct programs in communities in the lead up to the event as well as conduct sessions for the local clubs and members of the Intensive Training Program in Alice Springs.
Last years game featured a thrilling overtime finish with H4H escaping with a narrow win.
The event is free and will feature players such as NBL Player Deba George who is a high flying slam dunk machine. Regular H4H player Verle Williams (pictured) is another who wil entertain the crowd with his high wire game
The event is funded through the Department of Sport and Recreation Northern Territory.
