Aussie Hoops is back for term 2! This is Basketball Australia’s official junior game development program for 5-10 year old’s and their families.

 

Put simply, Aussie Hoops introduces children to basketball in a structured and accredited environment. It is designed for children new to the sport and focuses on teaching basic basketball skills.

 

Ford Aussie Hoops is a national program which provides an environment where children of all abilities can achieve on the court and reap the rewards of skill development, enhanced self-esteem, social co-operation and grassroots sports participation.

 

Our national coaching curriculum and sequentially-developed program consists of warm-up games, skill activities and modified games all delivered by accredited coaches

 

When: Wednesday Afternoon

New Ford Aussie Hoops participants will have the choice to purchase a NEW and improved Ford Aussie Hoops participant pack upon registration. This pack will provide children with the essential items required to begin their basketball journey. The Participant Pack includes:

When you are registering, there will be several options for your child's pack. Size 5 is the standard basketball size for both boys and girls aged 5 – 12 years old, and so we suggest selecting either pack 4, 5 or 6.
