Age eligibility for Winter 2019 season
The age groups will remain in line with the VJBL and the majority of other metro basketball associations.
Age groups will therefore be defined by the age of a player at the 31st of December of the year the season ends in (ie end of 2019).
The age group is therefore defined by the age of the child at 31 December 2019
For the Winter 2019 season the years of birth and the applicable age groups are:
2010 and 2012 - Under 10s
2008 and 2009 - Under 12s
2006 and 2007 - Under 14s
2004 and 2005 - Under 16s
2002 and 2003 - Under 18s
1999, 2000 and 2001 - Under 21s
